The Penn Stater
The conference will be held at The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel, one of the largest university-based conference center hotels of its kind in the country.
To reserve your room or for additional information:
A limited number of rooms have been set aside at the conference location at $129 per single or double occupancy. Call or fax The Penn Stater to make your room reservation. Or reserve your room here. Be sure to identify yourself as a participant in the American Carbon Society Conference and give the registration clerk the reservation ID number: AMEG16B. Reservations should be made by Thursday, June 9.
Please note: Complimentary WiFi will be available at the conference center and in the guest rooms.
University Housing (On Campus)
A special package has been reserved for the Carbon 2016 conference at Penn State Residence Halls for the program’s duration. Rooms are available beginning Sunday, July 10, through Friday, July 15. Guests will have the option of arriving early or departing late depending on their travel arrangements. All residence hall fees must be paid in advance. Residence hall rooms are air conditioned.
Note: A continuous shuttle bus will run each morning for two hours and each evening for three hours to transport CARBON attendees staying in University Housing to and from The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel.
Eastview Terrace: Rate is $68 per night, per person, single occupancy. Rooms consist of one single bed, desk, armoire, private bath, and a small microwave/refrigerator. The rate includes a hot breakfast each day (Monday through Friday). Bed linens, towels, washcloth, and soap are provided. To make a reservation, call 800-778-8006, Monday through Friday, 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., or fax 814-863-8877. Or reserve your room online.
Note: You should bring your own clothes hangers, alarm clock, and any other personal items you may require.
