Conference Picnic

Tuesday, July 12

July weather in Central Pennsylvania is lovely, so we have arranged an evening for you at one of the most popular places on the Penn State University Park Campus – the beautiful Arboretum at Penn State. You will have time to stroll through the H.O. Smith Botanic Gardens, enjoy a picnic-style dinner under tent, and relax with music by a popular local musical group. This is an additional opportunity for you to mingle with friends both old and new. Bus transportation will be provided from The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel and will continue throughout the evening until the conclusion of the picnic. We encourage you to visit the gardens upon arrival, before dusk.

Conference Dinner

Thursday, July 14
7:00–10:00 p.m.

Our final social event will be the conference dinner that will take place at Beaver Stadium, “Home of Penn State Nittany Lion Football.” The facility is named for James A. Beaver, a key figure in the University’s history. Beaver Stadium has a capacity of more than 106,000 fans on game days and is the second-largest of its kind in the United States. Music will be provided to entertain you while you enjoy a wonderful buffet and beverages in the exclusive Mt. Nittany Club. Bus transportation will be provided from The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel and will continue throughout the evening until the conclusion of the dinner.
